Eric S. Varley, D.O.
Dr. Varley, a recipient of the National Institutes of Health Ruth L. Kirschstein National Service Award is currently a post-doctoral fellow in Orthopaedics and Spine surgery at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Varley graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 and completed a spine surgery research fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in 2008. He has collaborated on a wide spectrum of orthopaedic research topics including the development of a novel growth modulation treatment for spinal deformity as well as clinical outcomes research. Dr. Varley is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, the Orthopaedic Research Society, the California Orthopaedic Association, and the American Medical Writers Association. He brings with him an impeccable experience in clinical research publishing in a variety of scientific journals receiving numerous accolades.
Sree Turlapati
Mr. Turlapati is currently the Chief Technical and Solutions officer at Vadyas LLC. Prior to Vadyas, Mr. Turlapati was Managing Principal in Vignette Professional Services (VPS), the implementation arm of Vignette Corporation. He has 15 years of experience in software development and implementations, including 10 years in technical and project management. Mr. Turlapati excels in running complex, multifaceted technology initiatives and has successfully led multi-million dollar Vignette implementations at several major corporations. Mr. Turlapati’s experience at Vadyas & Vignette include Implementing Physician Portal, Clinical Information Systems, Electronic Medical Records, Bed Board Management and Patient Portal, Enterprise Content Management at IMS Health, Deloitte, BearingPoint, MasterCard and United Technology Corporation, Portal to Bay State Health, Givaudan, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Stanley Works, SPX Corporation, T. Rowe Price, Marriott, AstraZeneca, Colgate, American Red Cross and National Geographic. He also provides technical assistance to Vignette sales teams across the United States, working with Vignette Strategic Operations to package VPS extensions. He has a Honors graduate in Software Engineering.
Constantine Toumbis, MD, PhD
Dr.Toumbis is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon. A medical graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan, has a distinct interest in biomedical research. He completed his PhD in Experimental Pathology from Roswell Park Graduate Division of Science, State University of New York at Buffalo. Currently in surgical practice in Northeast Florida, he has published extensively in Orthopedic and Spine surgery. Recipient of the prestigious New York University Trustee Scholarship he has over 50 peer reviewed papers and book chapters to his credit.
Brian Tuffin
Originally in sales at Procter & Gamble Mr.Tuffin advanced continually through Corporate America assuming leadership positions in Sales, Brand Management, New Product Development, Acquisitions and Global Business Development. Prior to being named President of SC Johnson’s largest business unit outside the US, Mr. Tuffin reported directly to the CEO as Worldwide Director of Sales and took part in all strategic & commercialization initiatives for the corporation. Mr. Tuffin was integrally involved in opening the SC Johnson operation in Pakistan, building their joint venture with Unilever in India, and went into Russia after the currency crisis to help stabilize the operation. He has spent significant time developing SC Johnson’s businesses in all Latin America, Asia and Europe which allows for a unique global perspective on business and life in general. From March 2000 to December 2004 Mr. Tuffin lead the Canadian Company to year over year financial results that outperformed all 72 SC Johnson subsidiaries 3 of the last 5 years and the in-market results outperformed the competitive set the last 4 years consecutively.
In December 2004, purchased the largest orthopedic consumer products leader in its space, ObusForme, and the emerging industry science leader Moller Back Support Systems, and created the new leader in the space, Integral Orthopedics Inc. As CEO since January 2005 with a solid equity position, Brian formed a solid executive team from his past global relationships and led the IOI company integration process; streamlined and improved the corporate margin profile by 12 percentage points; Acquired and out grew a majority owned production facility in Ningbo, China; Secured IOI rights to the world’s leading technology in the Orthopedic Sleep category; Established an industry leading medical platform under the Moller brand that has first mover advantage in a significantly underserved non-invasive orthopedic back market; and completed a North American Joint venture with Conair Corporation in a three year period. Brian has partnered with Dr. Podichetty to create a uniquely positioned and fast emerging medical research company called Research Practice Partners Inc. which he guides as CEO as well. Mr. Tuffin has a dual BS degree from The Ohio State University and also is a proud Alumni of Harvard Business School.
Daniel Man, MD
A noted author, artist, inventor and educator, Dr. Daniel Man has dedicated his life's work to helping people look younger and improve their appearance through cosmetic surgery. Director of the Center for Plastic Surgery Excellence and Looking Younger Medical Spa in Boca Raton, Florida, Dr. Daniel Man has published extensively in medical journals and performed FDA clinical test trials and IRB studies for leading medical companies in the U.S. and abroad including Cynosure, Lutronics, HumanMed, Harvest Technologies, Hospira, ERBE, Mentor Corp., Innamed and Reliant Technologies. Dr. Man was selected to be the first to introduce the new SmartLipo Laser Body Sculpting device in South Florida. He is the author of several popular guidebooks to plastic surgery and will publish his fourth book Spring 2009. A popular media personality, Dr. Man has appeared on CNN, Discovery Channel, Fox News, CBS4 News, ABC Evening News, BBC News, Newsweek, People, Vogue, Miami and Allure magazines, among others. He was named "Humanitarian of the Year" by Palm Beach County Victim Services, and was recognized by former Governor Jeb Bush, Senator Bob Graham and The City of Boca Raton, which named "Dr. Man Day" June 21 in his honor. Dr. Man is the inventor of an improved facelift technique using the "Man Facelift Expander", "Body Glue", and "The Vertical Bed", which help to give better contours during liposuction. He also holds a patent for an implantable homing device to help locate missing children, foreign diplomats, and Alzheimer's patients.
